  • IRON-ON PATCH INSTRUCTIONS

    • Preheat the Iron: Turn the heat on your iron to medium or high level of heat.
    • Prepare the Garment: Nevertheless, make sure that the fabric used is clean and on the right iron to avoid wrinkles. Place it flat on some armor and heat-resistant surface where it can bake without getting burnt.
    • Place the Patch: Put the embroidered patch with the embroidered face down on the preferred area.
    • Cover and Protect: Place a thin piece of cloth or a piece of cotton fabric over the patch so that the iron comes into direct contact with the embroidery.
    • Press and Hold: Place the hot iron right on the patch and hold position for approximately 45 seconds without shifting the iron around.
    • Iron the Back: Inside out put the garment and press the iron on the back of the patch for 30 seconds.
    • Check for Adhesion: Tilt the patch a bit to see whether it has stuck. If not, extend more heat energy for a few more seconds.
    • Cool and Set: Do not touch the patch till it cools down completely. Ideally avoid washing for the next 24 hours for the best results.


    HELPFUL TIPS    : If the patch does not stick well, then one can sew it or indeed apply fabric glue to add it firmly.

What if I don't have an iron?

No worries! You can also sew or glue the patch onto your item for a permanent hold.

Can the patch adhere to all fabrics?

Iron-on patches work best on cotton and denim. For synthetic fabrics, we recommend sewing or using fabric glue.

How long will my patch last?

With proper care, an iron-on patch can last for 20+ washes. Sewing or gluing extends its durability.
